Noooooooooooooooo~!

THEY CAME THIS MORNING!! My plot has been foiled... lol... and I was awake at 5.30 this morning... swt~ WHY did I go back to sleep?? I could have gone and see... haha...

Nooo... why why why? The Japanese students are coming to visit my old high school, if I'm not mistaken tmr... =(
They were suppose to come last year... but it makes no difference to me... haha... I finished high school in 2006... hehe... but then, I remember that year, we were having our full dress rehearsals at the stadium in preparation for our Sports Day... Then we got an emergency call from the school... "The students from Japan are coming tomorrow! We need all the students in charge to be back now!"... Thank goodness for the Form 6 students, without them we wouldn't be able to go back to the school...

So all the students in charge of performance, rushed back to the school which was like 10 or 15 km away... haha... not sure... from MPSJ to SS17... We only had less than 7 hours to rehearse... It was already 11 in the morning... So we practiced until 5 or 6 in the evening and most of us haven't really remembered our steps for the dances yet... including me... hehe... I was a newbie at Bhangra... Bhangra is a famous Indian dance normally performed in Punjabi weddings... I think... lol...

The next day, we all came with our costumes... WITH, not wearing them yet... then our supervisor approached us and said, "Girls, I'm so sorry... Unfortunately, the person who delivered the message to us yesterday, didn't read the whole fax... She only read the first few lines... Only the officials and teachers will be here tomorrow... not the students... but the students will be coming the following year and we would be glad to have you all perform for them... "
But by then we were already out of school... and all of us were frustrated and dissapointed as well... *sigh*

The japanese students didn't come last year but they will be coming this year... looks like they won't be needing us anymore... hehe... I heard them playing yorokobi no uta over the PA system this morning... I still remember about 5 years back, student from Japan came... and it was SO MUCH FUN! I was incharge of the food... So I was stuck upstairs servig the VIPs and the teachers... which I didn't mind... we spent 3 days cleaning up the place and preparing the food was so much fun! best of all, WE GOT TO EAT THE FOOD! haha... The normal students didn't get to eat it... my teacher's fried rice is sooooooooooooooo good! Oishi!! =)

After we finished our work upstairs, my teacher allowed us to go downstairs to join in the FUN! and It was sooo cool! We could see students everywhere in their cute uniforms... We were all shocked because they had their hair all dyed and they could let their hair down even if it was long... and their skirts were SHORT! In Malaysia, our uniform must be below our knees (skirt) and long hair must be tied up... No dyed hair also... There was one girl who came up to us and she was using gestures to communicate with us... She was so cute!! She wanted to take a picture with us... hehe... with their cute poses and cute expressions, everyone was so happy... =)

My fren and I went to the main courtyard and looked around... Then a guy came up to us and started talking Japanese to us... and we were like ???? We were so blur and then he said sorry and walked away... haha... He must have thought we were japanese... lol-ness....

Sigh... I really enjoyed that day... I so wanna go back to school and have fun! I'm stuck in my university with my frens who don't share the same interest with me... sighs... but I could always go back to school and inquire about my certificate... haha... see when it's released... hehe... I will have to call one of my fren to accompany me though... scared of this one teacher in particular who always asks people to donate money or stuff... but she only asks the students la... we already donated more than 100 bucks this year... and that was our class funds... but I wouldnt mind helping out... =)

I hope the students will be visiting tmr then after my exam I can go ad visit my school... hehe... lol...
